But new research suggests that lunches at school cafeterias may actually be healthier than the ones parents pack for their kids. And the results may have larger implications for how families eat. Alisha R. Farris and her co-authors observed lunchtime at three Virginia schools over a five-day period, for a paper published in the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior.
