livingstondaily.com – A former interim Michigan state superintendent of schools was officially hired Monday as interim superintendent of Howell Public Schools. Jeremy Hughes will start immediately. His hiring, unanimously approved by the school board, came a month after the board controversially fired Superintendent Ron Wilson. “I know there’s been some turmoil here,” Hughes said. Still, he said he hoped to bring “a sense of dedication, a sense of purpose” that would help the district move forward.
